Configura, maker of CET Designer, has signed Spacefile International Corp. as its newest manufacturing client.

Configura has begun work developing a custom Extension loaded with Spacefile

 products. The Extension, known as Spacefile Spacetools, will be available to

 Spacefile dealers and designers this spring.

“We heard dealers and other manufacturers describe CET Designer as a tool to communicate – a total solution – and we saw evidence of that when we visited the Configura booth at NeoCon,” Spacefile President John Harkness said. “That was pivotal point – seeing not only the product in action, but also Configura the company, and the people.”

Configura CET Designer clients also include Haworth (Canvas Extension), 

Steelcase (SmartTools Extension) and Teknion (StoryBoard Extension).

Configura CEO Johan Lyreborn said. “Additional manufacturers means more to offer 

our CET Designer users.” 

Spacefile, one of the leading manufacturers of high-density storage systems, has been serving customers for more than 40 years. “If we are not a competitor to a particular manufacturer, we can provide a ‘fill the floor’ solution that they, in turn, can offer to their customers,” Harkness said.

All Spacefile products are sold through an extensive network of independent dealers across Canada, the U.S. and Europe.

“It’s amazing when you have a conversation and then start to see your Extension, with its own personality, coming through. We see it as an extension of our business being created,” Harkness said.
