GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan and CINCINNATI, Ohio – March 9, 2007 - Configura, Inc. and ProjectMatrix have signed a partner agreement to collaborate on products and extensions to be used with Configura’s CET Designer platform. By partnering with ProjectMatrix, the combination of CET Designer with existing ProjectMatrix products provides dealers, designers and manufacturers with a complete, full service set of solutions.
CET Designer is Configura’s new, state-of-the-art design platform that encompasses a wide range of functionality that makes it easy to accurately design and specify configurable products. Configurable products come in many forms, but the most common uses of CET Designer would be for “Tile Systems”, complex desk systems and even the more commonly used monolithic panel systems. “Configurable product lines can sometimes require a fairly high level of product expertise.” said Johan Lyreborn, CEO of Configura. “With some complex systems, it is easy to inadvertently leave out parts that are necessary to install the configuration properly. CET Designer reduces or eliminates this type of error, because we build a high level of intelligence into the objects used in CET Designer.” CET Designer was 2006 Best of Neocon winner.

The first CET Designer Extension from ProjectMatrix is ProjectSymbols for CET Designer. This extension will integrate their current ProjectSymbols AutoCAD symbol libraries with CET designer. This will allow users to have complete CET Designer drawings, including product lines that have not yet been developed for CET Designer’s native format. ProjectSymbols for CET Designer is scheduled to be tested and released by Neocon 2007.
