Configura has released CET Designer® Version 2.3, the Best of NeoCon Gold award-winning software for designing and specifying office space used by Haworth, Steelcase, Teknion, Spacefile and soon, Mepal, dealers.

Nearly 100 CET Designer users and dealers and their respective manufacturers convened at The Venetian/Palazzo in Las Vegas Sept. 30-Oct. 1 for the second annual User Conference. The free two-day learning, brainstorming and networking event was attended by Haworth, Spacefile, Steelcase and Teknion dealers and designers. OFDA was a conference sponsor.

Karen Barton, Young Office in Greenville, South Carolina (Steelcase dealer) won the grand prize in the CET Designer User Conference Awards Program for her 260 workstation project in the Cayman Islands.

Before the recent User Conference held in Las Vegas, Configura surveyed CET Designer users to learn what they’d like us to focus on for future enhancements.

Configura CET Designer® today launched its RevLink Extension at the CET Designer User Conference in Las Vegas. The RevLink Extension is available from CET Designer's Extension Manager and is free to all to users.

Configura CET Designer® Extension For Storage Solutions Will Be Used by Spacefile, Haworth, Steelcase and Teknion dealers

CET Designer® 2.2 includes a new graphics engine, which expands the ability of the software to handle projects with hundreds of workstations – projects that require very large drawings. CET Designer doesn’t require AutoCAD (or knowledge of it), although users have access to an easy-to-use interface to import AutoCAD drawings and export to AutoCAD.

With the release of CET Designer 2.2 a new graphics engine is available. With this new engine, CET Designer 2.2 offers improved handling of large drawings as well as smooth and easy navigation in both 2D and 3D. The new graphics engine requires more computer memory and capacity than the old engine.
