Data Export & Import Policy

This Configura Sverige AB (“CSAB”) Data Export & Import Policy (“DEIP”) is issued under and form a part of the Configura Master Cloud Agreement (“CSMA”) or other CSAB Agreements which references this policy. Any definitions not defined herein shall have the meaning defined in such CSAB Agreement. CSAB may modify this DEIP to reflect changing practices, but the modifications will not materially decrease CSAB’s obligation during the Subscription Term.
1. Purpose
This policy establishes the framework for securely exporting and importing customer data within the cloud software service. It ensures data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory standards. Export and Import mechanisms may be used as back-up or archiving of Customer Data.
2. Definitions
Export: The process of transferring data from the cloud platform to an external system or storage.
Import: The process of ingesting external data into the cloud platform.
Customer Data: As defined in CSMA
3. Scope
This policy applies to all data transfers initiated by customers, administrators, or automated systems within the cloud platform, including:
a) All customer data stored within the cloud app.
b) All users who initiate exports or imports of data.
c) Any data transmitted between the cloud app and third-party systems via APIs, integrations, or manual uploads/downloads.
4. Data Formats and Export / Import Procedures
Data may be exported or imported in ways and formats allowed and documented by each app within the cloud software service. Configura cannot guarantee full forward compatibility where exported data can be automatically imported in its original format.
5. Compliance and Legal Requirements
All data transfers must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including privacy as described in the CSMA.
6. Restrictions
Users are prohibited from:
a) Exporting data for resale, redistribution, or non-compliant use.b) Importing data containing malicious code or unauthorized personal information.
c) Circumventing access controls or using third-party tools to bypass export/import restrictions.
7. Post Termination Customer Data Export
Any post termination data export request by Customer must (a) be made in writing to support@configura.com (b) be made within 15 days after the effective date of termination or expiration.
Exports will be provided in one of the available export formats, agreed with by the customer, and CSAB retains the right to charge a reasonable fee to cover the cost for such exports.
8. Policy Revisions
The content of this Data Export & Import Policy may be updated by Configura at any time .
