Customer satisfaction is vital to our success

All Configurans influence customer relations, but customers new to Configura’s ecosystem work closely with an assigned account manager. Our team of account managers, including Megan Brown, are tasked with handling the activities necessary to meet the needs of our customers. Additionally, Megan is the keeper of the Commercial Interiors Library (CI Library) —  work that includes managing new additions and updates.

What is a day in the life of a customer success account manager like?

Every day looks different and I enjoy that.  Some weeks I have more introductory calls, others its more workshops and trouble shooting. It is my goal to find ways to make onboarding manufacturers easier—for them and for Configura. With the support of the data team, I spend a lot of time meeting manufacturers and helping guide them through building catalogues. 
What was one 2022 accomplishment or project you are most proud of?

I joined Configura in April and worked with several manufacturers from start to finish to create and release their catalogues in the Commercial Interiors Library (CI Library); learning the process right alongside them. Seeing manufacturers’ catalogues available in CET after months of hard work is energizing and rewarding. I know it is a big deal for a company to be able to say they are part of CET Commercial Interiors and the Configura ecosystem; and I am proud I can help them get there.
Where is the customer success team headed in the next 1-3 years?

We have a focus on growing the Configura ecosystem. There is work being done to implement a program where manufacturers can join in differing levels and stages—from a proscribed process to a fully customizable experience. Additionally, Configura is exploring extending our Library technology beyond CET Commercial Interiors and into CET Material Handling and CET Kitchen & Bath.  
How do you describe Configura and your role to people you meet?

Configura is a software company that truly cares about its cemployees. Since day one, joining this company has felt like becoming part of a family. Everyone supports one another and I see a clearly defined vision for the future. I truly enjoy coming to work every day. 

My role can be a little hard to explain at times, but in essence I tell people I meet with manufacturers and help bring their products into our software and act as support during and after the process.  
What do you enjoy most about your work at Configura?

Honestly, I feel a huge sense of satisfaction knowing I am making a difference for the manufacturers I work with. Many of the companies under my responsibility are considered small or medium sized, and at this point, they can get added to the CI Library for free. Once their products are available for viewing, they have a better chance of being selected by designers, incorporated into design plans, added to bills of materials and increasing sales. The ability to make such an impact on these companies is so rewarding.  

I also really love my coworkers; I truly have enjoyed building relationships with my fellow Configurans!
