From First Sales Hire to Head of Sales NA: Brooke Snow’s Inspiring Configura Journey

After almost 12 years at Configura, Brooke Snow is stepping into her new role as Head of Sales North America. From starting out as the company’s very first salesperson in North America, to now being part of a global sales team of more than 20, Brooke’s journey has been shaped by growth, support, and a passion for connecting with customers.

In this interview, she shares what excites her most about the role, her personal story, the moments that have shaped her path to leadership, and her reflections on what it means to step into a senior position as a woman—and a working mom—in the tech and sales industry.

Q:  Congratulations on your new role as Head of Sales North America! What excites you most about this opportunity? 

Brooke: Thank you so much! There’s a lot I’m excited about, but one thing that really stands out is the opportunity to get out in the field and spend more time with our customers. Being able to connect with them directly gives me so much energy - it truly fills my cup. 


 Q:  For those who don’t know you yet, who are you? 

Brooke: Hi there - nice to meet you! I’m Brooke Snow. I have been married to my college sweetheart for 16 years! We live in Ada, MI which is right outside of Grand Rapids and have 4 amazing kids: Brody, Caden, Easton and Ava. If we’re not at a football, soccer, baseball, or basketball game, it’s probably an off day in our house!

 Q: You've been with Configura for about 12 years, how would you describe your journey so far? 

Brooke: When I reflect on my 12 years with Configura, it has been such a fun, fast, and incredibly rewarding ride. I’ve always worked in client-facing sales roles, and when I first joined the company, I was actually the first and only salesperson. Today, I’m part of a global sales team of more than 20 - watching that growth firsthand has been such an amazing experience. I’m really proud to have played a part in Configura’s success so far, and I’m excited for the next evolution of growth and what’s ahead!

 Q:  How has Configura supported your professional growth throughout the years? 

Brooke: I would not be who I am today without the support of Configura. Being part of a company that encourages continuous growth, provides opportunities to stretch yourself, and trusts you with big responsibilities has shaped me both personally and professionally. I’ve been surrounded by leaders and colleagues who coach, challenge, and champion me and that environment has allowed me to grow into each new role with confidence. I’m truly grateful for the investment Configura has made in my development over the years. 



 Q:  As a woman stepping into a senior leadership role, what does this milestone mean to you personally? 

Brooke: Stepping into a senior leadership role as a woman (and as a working mom) is incredibly meaningful to me. Personally, it reflects years of hard work, growth, and the support from others who believed in me. But it also represents the balance so many of us try to navigate: investing deeply in our careers while being present for our families. This milestone reminds me that you don’t have to choose one or the other - you can lead, achieve, and still show up fully as a mom. I hope my journey shows other women, especially working moms, that it’s possible to grow into senior leadership while honoring all the roles that matter most. I’m proud to lead with authenticity and to help create an environment where everyone feels empowered to reach their full potential.

 Q:  What advice would you give to women aspiring to leadership positions within the tech or sales industry?  

Brooke: My biggest advice to women aspiring to leadership roles in tech or sales is this: believe in your capability, even before you feel “ready.” So many opportunities come from saying yes, stepping into stretch roles, and trusting that you’ll grow into them. Surround yourself with mentors and peers who will champion you, challenge you, and speak your name in rooms you’re not in yet. Seek feedback, stay curious, and never stop learning - this industry moves fast, and growth comes from embracing that pace. 


Q:  Was there a turning point or decisive moment in your career that shaped your path to leadership? 

Brooke: One of the biggest turning points in my career was the moment I realized that leadership isn’t about having a certain title - it’s about how you show up every day. There was a point where I began taking more ownership, coaching others, and stepping into challenges without waiting to be asked. That shift in mindset changed everything. Looking back, it wasn’t one single decision but a series of choices to step up, stay curious, and take on more responsibility that ultimately paved the way to where I am today.
