But our commitment to sustainability doesn’t stop with our software—it’s part of who we are. Through our global CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative, Configura Teams Up, employees are empowered to make a positive impact in the communities we’re part of—one act of kindness, one hour at a time.

As part of this program, every employee is granted 8 paid working hours per year to spend on volunteer activities with organizations close to their heart. The activities are encouraged to align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—whether it's environmental action, supporting vulnerable groups, or contributing to local development. This initiative reflects our deep commitment to sustainability and community engagement.

We’re proud to see Configurans using their time, energy, and skills to support the communities we operate in. Whether volunteering individually or in teams, their efforts help create positive change—locally and globally.

what giving back looks like

Since the initiative began back in 2022, Configura employees across the world have participated in a wide variety of volunteer activities—each one meaningful in its own way. 

• In North America, teams have cleaned up riverbanks and helped restore natural areas.
• In Linköping, employees hiked through nature trails while picking up litter—combining outdoor wellness with environmental care.
• In Kuala Lumpur, our team partnered with Kechara Soup Kitchen, preparing and distributing meals to those in need.

We’ve also introduced other ways to give back, such as donating blood during work hours, offering homework help to students, spending time with elderly individuals to reduce social isolation, and even helping to build homes for families in need. During the holiday season, our teams have come together to support local aid organizations by donating gifts and meals to families facing hardship.
