CI/CD For CET in 17.0
This is a follow-up to the previous post describing the upcoming single-sign-on (SSO) changes for CET Developer and CET: https://www.configura.com/blog/developer/single-sign-on-rollout-for-content-creators
In that post, we described a new way to log in to CET in automation environments, such as CI/CD jobs & pipelines. However, we failed to mention that there is a change that will also affect existing automations for CET as well. Starting with 17.0 major release, you will no longer be able to login to CET using the runtime settings stored on the machine. This means it will no longer be sufficient (or necessary) to manually login to CET on an automation machine for the purposes of logging in for CI/CD jobs.
If you are currently relying on these stored credentials for logging in to CET, you will need to update your environment to use the new headless login method described in the referenced article.
