Meet Nadine: A Glimpse into Life at Configura Germany

Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your professional background?

Nadine: I've been working in sales and account management for over 20 years, with 12 years in the material handling world in several roles. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to grow, learn, and take on new challenges in a range of industries.

Q: What led you to join Configura and what’s your journey been like so far?

Nadine: What really drew me to Configura was its family-friendly culture and strong team spirit. So far, I’ve been able to work on some really rewarding projects alongside great colleagues from all over the world.

Q:  What does your role as a Senior Account Executive involve on a daily basis?

Nadine: My main role is to connect with clients, understand their needs, and make sure we’re delivering the best solutions for their businesses. This involves a lot of communication, problem-solving, and close collaboration with teammates.

Q: What’s it like working remotely as a member of the Configura team in Germany?

Nadine: Working remotely offers me a great balance between my work and my personal life — without missing out on team collaboration. Our routines, tools, and communication make sure we’re always connected, even when we’re not in the same office. We meet in person on a regular base to not miss the personal connection.

Q: What are the biggest benefits of working remotely for you personally?

Nadine: The flexibility to manage my day, cut down on commuting, and be there for my family when I need to, all while staying fully engaged in my work — that's a big advantage for me.

Nadine: It’s really rewarding to collaborate with colleagues from different backgrounds and learn from their perspectives. This brings new ideas to the table and helps us grow together.

Nadine: I've grown a lot in both my communication skills and my ability to solve problems under pressure. Working in a dynamic, international team really helps you become more adaptable and versatile.

Q: Do you have any favorite productivity hacks or routines you swear by when working remotely?

Nadine: I find it helpful to structure my day, take regular breaks, and make use of digital tools to aid communication and collaboration. This way, I stay organized and productive without overwhelm.
