Approval Policy

Purpose

This policy outlines the requirements, process, and expectations for approval of extensions in the Configura Publishing Program. Approval grants access to the official CET Runtime Platform and the MyConfigura Marketplace, allowing extensions to reach the CET user community.

The extension approval process consists of the following key stages:

  1. Project Creation - Establishment of the project in MyConfigura
  2. Development - Creation and testing of the extension
  3. Extension Review - Technical evaluation against Configura standards
  4. Approval Decision - Final determination of publishing eligibility
  5. Marketplace Publication - Release to the MyConfigura Marketplace

Official Distribution Access

Approved extensions gain the ability to publish to the Official distribution channel of CET, which is used by all production CET users.

Approval Revocation

Configura reserves the right to revoke approval if an extension fails to maintain the standards outlined in the Publishing Policy Guide. Reasons for revocation may include:

Appeals Process

If approval is denied or revoked, Extension Owners may appeal the decision by:

  1. Submitting a written appeal to their Account Executive
  2. Providing documentation addressing the identified issues
  3. Requesting a review meeting with the Publishing Program team

Appeals will be reviewed within 10 business days, and decisions will be communicated with clear explanations.

Policy Changes

This policy may be updated periodically. All changes will be communicated to Extension Owners with appropriate notice periods.
