Drawing 2D Lines

To draw two-dimensional lines in CET Designer, go to 2D Lines on the Tools component tab or the Lines on the Drawing (paper) component tab in the Paper View. Read more below on how to use the different line types.

Line or double line

If you want to position a line or double line with a certain length, follow these steps:

  1. Select a Line component from the component tab.
  2. Move the mouse pointer to the drawing area and click once.
  3. Enter the desired length in the input box that appears.
  4. Enter the angle for the wall, either by moving the mouse pointer in the desired direction or by entering an exact value. Confirm by clicking.

 

Multiple lines

If you want to position multiple lines, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Multiple lines component from the component tab.
  2. Move the mouse pointer to the drawing area and click once.
  3. Enter the desired length in the input box that appears.
  4. Enter the angle for the wall, either by moving the mouse pointer in the desired direction or by entering an exact value. Confirm by clicking.
  5. Repeat these steps until you have all the lines you want.

 

Tip!You can decide the visibility of all lines (except for dimensions) found in the Tools component tab by selecting one of the three 2D position options in the quick properties box: Back, Mid or Front.
