You can now make the following settings:

  • Short text – Type a short text to label or identify the leader. The text will follow the leader and keep its relative position if the leader is moved or rotated.
  • Text style – Define the style of the short text (if used).
  • Parallel label – Keeps the text horizontal no matter how the leader is rotated.
  • Elevation – Choose the elevation of the leader lines.
  • 2D Position – Decide the visibility of the leader by selecting Back, Mid, or Front.
  • Two arrow heads – Select this option if you wish both leader ends to have an arrow head.
  • Arrow head size – Enter the size of the leader’s head(s).
  • Line Style – Choose how you wish the leader to look like by selecting one of the options in the Edit menu.
Tip!

  • You can set the visibility of all lines found in the Tools component tab (except for dimensions) by selecting one of the three 2D position options in the quick properties box: Back, Mid or Front.
  • The Default elevation value for leader lines in the 2D View is 0” but in Paper View is 0.04″ or 1 mm to ensure full visibility. This can be manually changed in both views.
