About the CET Designer Walls

Moving Walls

Walls placed in the drawing area can be moved just like other components in CET Designer. However, during the planning stages it is unlikely that you will want to change a room’s basic shape, and there’s a risk that you might move a wall accidentally. For this reason, the program’s default settings only allow walls to be moved when the component tab for Wall drawing is selected.

If you want to change this setting, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the File menu and select Control Panel.
  2. On the General tab, clear the Move walls only when Wall Drawing is selected check box.
  3. Close the control panel.

Changing Wall Dimensions

You can change the wall height, length and other values at any time.

To change the height of a wall in the drawing area, follow these steps:

  1. Select the wall. An input box opens.
  1. Enter the new value. Confirm by pressing Enter or clicking once.

With the Angle step option on the Wall drawing component tab, you can predefine the angle step for the walls when they are rotated in the drawing area.
