New CET Designer Extension demo’ed at Configura’s NeoCon Booth 7-7046
Configura announced today it will launch an Extension connecting its CET Designer software to Khameleon software, with demo’ing of the new Extension occurring for the first time during the NeoCon World’s Trade Fair now through June 13. The new Extension launches later this year.
“This is a dealer’s answer to getting CET Designer to ‘talk’ to Khameleon, a business system and project accounting software used by office furniture dealers across North America,” said Peter Brandinger, a vice president with Configura. “It’s a bridge between the two software products.”

Here’s how the new Extension works: A user creates a customer proposal using CET Designer (creates the design/specification, renderings, and ordering and installation documentation); then using the new Khameleon Extension, the ordering information can be sent directly into the Khameleon business system. Similarly, the user can “pull” data that resides in the Khameleon system to use when developing a customer proposal in CET Designer.
“The new Extension provides two-way communication, totally streamlining the ordering process,” Brandinger said.
