Finding articles in the Calculation

Did you know...

...that there is an easy way to locate a specific article in the Calculation?

Example

You need to make some manual changes to an article in the Calculation. Your current drawing is large and has generated a rather extensive list of items. This gives you a hard time finding the particular article in your Article view.

Solution

It is easy! Simply click to select a component in the 2D or 3D view, and it will automatically be highlighted in your Article view in the Calculation. It also works the other way around; when you click on a row in the Article view, the selected component becomes highlighted in the 2D and the 3D view.

Tip!

By right-clicking on a row in the Article view and selecting Locate on drawing from the menu that appears, CET Designer zooms in on that particular component in the 2D and 3D view.
