Release Notes - CET Designer version 2.4.1

Changes

Paper View & Print

  • General speed-ups: managing papers (load/move/copy/remove etc), opening Print Preview and Print Reports are faster.

  • Disabled pages in Paper View now have a new look to help tell them apart from enabled pages.

  • The Paper Manager has been improved to now indicate which papers are disabled and which are not.

  • New icons added in the menu which is displayed when right clicking on papers in Paper View

  • Paper View and Print Preview will now show you what zoom level CET Designer is currently set to, and offers an option to reset zoom back to 100%. The drop down control offers you a set of quick access zoom modes, but will also update to match zooming using the scroll wheel of your mouse.

Zoom level in Paper View is also linked to the DPI setting of the page. So if you change your DPI setting while zoomed in or out, then CET Designer will automatically adjust the zoom level to keep your view the same.

  •  Architectural Symbols now have their own category for View Port visibility.

  • The Ruler tool will now scale to fit its text properly on papers in Paper View.

  • When working with different alternatives, Printable Article View will now alert you to situations where it is not fully up to date.

Light Settings

  • Lighting Settings dialog box now shows an arrow indicating the direction of the sunlight instead of merely a line.

Solved issues

  • During CAD export, the checkbox for including imported dwg/dxf with the exported dwg should now properly respect the user's choice instead of always including imported dwg/dxf files.

  • View Ports set to 'follow main view mode' will now correctly follow the View Mode of your normal 3D view.

  • View Ports should no longer sometimes forget what View Modes they were set to when drawing or paper is loaded.
