Release Notes - CET Designer 2.3.4 fixes and changes

Changes

  • When printing Article Views, the option Use the columns chosen in each view will from now on be selected as default. This means that CET Designer will by default use any custom selections you may have made in the Calculation dialog. This will only be applied to print reports created after the release of version 2.3.4.

  • Summary settings in the Calculation dialog now offer an option to return settings to default. Just select the Standard summary option in the drop down menu that can be found on the Summary tab in the View settings dialog.

  • The Align tool is now named the same way in the 2D view toolbar and in the Edit menu. Before the Align tool had different names even though it was the same tool.

  • The column Group by has been removed from the Column tab in the View settings dialog. You find this dialog in the Calculation dialog.

  • New buttons in the Calculation dialog. You now find two buttons to the right of the Article View tabs; Create a new view and Copy current view. Click the Create a new view button to add a new Article View that is a copy of the Main article view. Click the Copy current view button to create a copy of the currently selected view.

  • CET Designer has changed its way to handle inserted images. This will result in improved performance and smaller save files.
Note: If an inserted image has a length or height of 1 200 pixels or more, then CET Designer will scale this down to 1 024 pixels (while maintaining aspect ratio).
