How to get started with CET Designer
Download CET Designer
Click the button ‘Download’ button at the download section to start downloading the software.
Save the CET Designer.msi file on your computer’s desktop.
By downloading software from Configura,com you agree to the terms of our End User License agreement. Please read it before downloading and also review the system recommendations for CET Designer.
Install CET Designer
Run the CET Designer setup file. A CET Designer Setup wizard will guide you through the installation. When you click Finish in the last step in the installation wizard, another wizard appears, the License information wizard. Read more about the License information wizard (pdf).
Download Extensions
Launch CET Designer.
With CET Designer, you can easily add new content to your application by installing Extensions. An Extension can include a specific manufacturer’s products or additional functionality.
Use the Extension Manager to browse for, download and install the Extensions of your choice. The Extension Manager is accessed from the top-right corner of the program window.
Simply go to the section Download Extensions and select the Extension of your choice from the list. Press the Download & Install button.
Order Licenses
In most cases you need a license to activate a downloaded Extension. Either you need to order a new license or a License buyer has purchased a license for you.
Order license
To order a new license click the Order Licenses link in the Extensions Installed section and follow the wizard that appears.
License buyer
In most cases you do not need to manually activate a license that a License buyer has ordered for you. You might need to click the Refresh button if CET Designer was running while the license was ordered.
